Knitting for Barbie - Canister Set from 1962

Knitting for Barbie, Kit No. 802 - 2 Pc. Skating Outfit. Kit has original basic knitting instructions, illustrated directions, PINK knitting needles (they call them "Easy-knit Needles"), and some of the original yarn for the skinny pants. I was given this back in the 1960s and remember knitting the outfit for my Barbie doll. There are some pencil notes on the directions that I made when making the outfit. There are some minor stains on the paper wrap on the canister, and one minor dent on the rim of the pink lid, along with a few marks on the top. See photos for details. The hole in the lid is intentional to allow for keeping the yarn in the container as you make the outfit, pulling the yarn through the hole. This has been kept in a smoke free and pet free home for many years!
