Kirkland Lighted Water Globe Music/revolving DO NOT WORK

The base turns but there is something wrong with the wind up mechanism as it doesn't play music. The lights turn on with two batteries but they do not turn off unless batteries are removed. The button that I assumed is designed to turn them off is not functioning. Perhaps they are designed to turn off on their own after some time? It's not clear to me. Sold as is, because it's beautiful even tho the music, light, revolving features are not working No batteries included.
