King Seiko Model 5246-6000 - Collector Grade

This a collector-grade KS 5246-6000. The case is unpolished and sharp, the hands, dial furniture, crown, crystal, and dial are near-flawless. Also includes the difficult-to-find original buckle. The complete original blue protective sticker is on the back of the one-piece case. The watch is keeping great time; the day and date flip over with a nice 'snick'. The movement was serviced when I purchased it but I have no records to provide. The movement is the legendary 52KS, running at 4hz/28800 vph with chronometer grade accuracy. It also has the super-fine regulation adjustment screw at the 7oclock position, which Seiko stopped doing in 1973. The 52KS was the basis for the 4S15 used in mid-90s Alpinists and is very well regarded amongst collectors and watchmakers.
