King George V Silver Jubilee Tin - 1935

King George V and Queen Mary ruled the British Empire from 1910 - 1936. George barely survived his Silver Jubilee before succumbing to lung disease. Queen Mary would then become the Queen mother - she survived until 1953, also dying of lung disease. George was succeeded by his son Edward but not for long. This tin has a wonderful red patina and would look great on any shelf or stand out in any display.
