King Bake Baby Solid Sterling Silver Pendant

This is my artistic interpretation of the plastic King Cake Baby. Traditionally, King Cake season begins the Twelfth Night after Christmas, and continues to the climax of Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday. The plastic baby is in a coffee cake style cake with the Mardi Gras colored icings of purple, green, and gold. Whoever gets the baby in the slice of cake is King or Queen of the party and is obligated to have the next King Cake Party. The tradition has lived on for almost 2 centuries.
