matowles hi! I received my kimono and it appears that it is not the "Aerie" brand kimono. there is no fraying around the trim, it is not NWT as advertised, and had several pulls in the back. just wanted to address this before I rate, was there a mistake when you shipped?

shoreandskyline @matowles It’s brand new! My listing is categorized as brand “NONE.” Since Aerie made me cry and stopped making the kimonos, I asked 2 designers and swooned at it over my Aerie resort red bikini! While kimonos are intended to be unfinished, it obviously should not have a tear!... (Were there any snags on the shipping bag or internal bag?) If you want a new one, I would replace yours. If you want the Aerie logo, feel free to return - no problem at all!

matowles @shorelinechica yes, I can see that you've now changed the listing. however, the listing that I purchased was labeled NWT and you used #aerie as well. Bottom line it's a knockoff, a good one albeit but you've advertised this to me dishonestly, using Aerie stock photos also and I feel a bit ripped off as there are pulls and snags down the back as well.

shoreandskyline @matowles This post has always stated: kimono matches #Aerie line or “like #Aerie” and been categorically marked as “No Brand.” Designers didn’t add AEREE faux tags but packaged inside manufacturers’ coverlets tagged w/ size/UPC info, etc. If I misunderstood that to be NWT, it’s hardly to mislead like a silk GUCCI, but if what made me stoked makes you sad, perhaps a “brand category” search might serve your replacement purposes? Or we can replace a snap or refund this $30 something poly kimono.

shoreandskyline @poshlauren Hey Lauren, this is the unbranded wrap. I tagged ya in aerie’s kimono. i have both bc I hate being too cold or too hot. Aerie’s is denser & better suited for winter, evening or chillier shorelines. If near high heat tropics, I’d lean toward the lighter, unbranded wrap. If temperate waters like Florida, either would serve... unbranded by day or Aerie’s by night. Aesthetically... both pair beautifully. Bundle >> Seller & ship discount.
