Kimchi Blue Phases of the Moon Halter Dress Hand-painted size medium I got interested in Poshmark because I love the idea of recycling clothing to help the environment and I’ve been trying to find ways to creatively add my artistic talents to the used textile world. Lately, I’ve been adding subtle aspects of nature to used denim. Denim being the same as canvas, it lends itself perfectly to being painted on. Images of nature on used clothing are meant to remind us that by upcycling clothes and participating in the resale market we are helping the environment we exist in. This dress is in excellent condition. This is a size medium but it seems like a small to me. See measurements in photos. It does have some stretch in the back but not a lot. It’s shown on a small bodice. I added the phases of the moon. They are painted in high quality gallery acrylic paint that has been heat sealed into the fabric. You can wash and dry this but it will fade over time so I only recommend washing if really needed. Otherwise spot clean. It’s art. It’s also very witchy and fabulous. Women and the moon are linked in so many ways. This upcycled dress is perfect to celebrate that. I hope it finds a happy moonstruck home.
