I've had this coat for quite a long time, dare I call it "vintage" ๐ณ I've owned this adorably soft suede coat since about 1999. It's got a really nice, silky lining with ๐๐autumn leaves๐ on it, which is still intact and in great shape. The suede itself is still in great condition considering its age ๐ I'll get more pics up soon, but if you have any questions, please let me know. The 2nd pic is a better view of the actual color but the 3rd is a better view of the whole coat ๐ my iPhone...๐

Hey, how are you! I'm going to post me wearing your red jewelry on my closet. I think about you often, I know that you are staying strong. Well you may feel I'm feeble minded as I just shared your sold items. ๐

@920designs hahaha! Feeble Minded never! You can share whatever you like! It's the thought that counts to me! I've been really sick, but I'm hopefully back on the mend. Should find out what's wrong with me this week (I hope) strong minded, meh...I've had a few moments these last few weeks but yesterday I had a bit of a breakthrough so I am gonna try try try to get myself to do whatever I can do. @920designs aying in bed and wallowing does not help. I figure if I can even just make it to my teepee to wallow, it's gotta be better than the dreaded bed. I'll catch up soon Friend โบ๏ธ I hoe you're doing well and I'm excited to see the jewelry on! You see they limited the comments to 500 characters now ๐

What is S / CH on the label? Small children's? Thanks.
danysfx
@ranastark you know, that's a good question. I can tell you tho, I bought this coat back when I was a Small, and as an adult. It is for sure a woman's coat..not a juniors, certain not a child's coat. I'm 5'5" and was around 125 lbs when it fit me. Let me know if you have any more questions!
ranastark
I just googled - ch stands for Chico = small in Spanish. Interesting. Probably made in South America.
danysfx
@ranastark hmmm, curious, does that means anything? This was my first "fancy coat" I was able to buy myself when I was around 18, so that's what 18 years ago! I have a bit of a clothes hoarding problem, so all of my "babies" are well maintained despite their age. Thanks for the interesting factoid, if you're interested please feel free to let me know ๐
ranastark
I am very interested but it's so tricky to buy without trying first. Usually I buy labels I know like J Crew, club Monaco, BR etc so I know what size fits well. I am an XS in coats.
danysfx
@ranastark actually, I just looked at the pictures, I took on of the tag to show it was actual leather, anyhow, the other, where you were looking, I think under the size it actually says "Made in Spain". I'm a little blind without my glasses looking on my iPhone. Anyhow, cool! I kinda feel bad now tho that I'm selling my first leather coat. Memories ๐
uh oh.
ranastark
I just bought a leather jacket that said XS so I thought it would fit perfectly and it was large b/c it was a man's XS which was too roomy on my frame. The posher who sold it to me didn't realize it was a man's size.
danysfx
@ranastark omg...no, it says "Made in China" I have no idea but now you have me sweatin' my listing AND my coat, probably not gonna sell it anymore, girl Thanks! ๐๐
danysfx
@ranastark do you want me to measure it?
ranastark
I love this! Others will too!
danysfx
@ranastark I'm pretty sure it is a women's, if not even a junior's (if that is even possible for Kenneth Cole, but remember this is old). I'm only saying this because I remember myself back then and I simply DETESTED the idea of ever wearing anything like, even a woman's suit, or a blazer...no. So when I started work and having to buy nice clothes, there would be NO WAY that I would be a mans coat. BUT...I totally get you because purchasing things online, especially something like this is SCARY
ranastark
I wasn't implying that your jacket was a man's - it's too feminine. Merely illustrating why it's risky to buy leather on this site. Please measure across the back.
danysfx
@ranastark well...if you were interested in it, or wanted to make an offer, I could take measurements. That would be your best bet. The CH is what I am unsure about either because, it could either mean "girls" or maybe even because it was made in China? I dunno. I do know tho, when I bought it, I was def a lot smaller than I am now ๐ so, I would say your best bet is if you were an XS - S. I haven't tried it on recently only because I assume it wouldn't fit.
danysfx
@ranastark o No!! I know ๐ I'm just saying I totally know what you're talking. ANYTHING really, that you buy online is risky because of size differences. I've gotta leave to run an errand but wanted to get you an idea, so laying down flat, I took it from the back as it is fitted and then flares slightly, so from the smallest point across the back measures 15.5". I can come home and get bust, shoulder to shoulder and sleeve length, and the length shoulder to hem if you want?
ranastark
Thank you. I'll be in touch. So, 15.5" across shoulder blades approx. I'm going to measure my coats.
danysfx
Actually, that is 15.5" across the waist...which is weird for a small.
danysfx
@ranastark but, I would like to get all of them because of the cut. I'm just thinking there is no way is can be right, but that mannequin its on is a woman's size 8 I think. I'll have to ask, it's borrowed from the VW parts department. I have my own now which is a size 6, so I'll take a few more pics and measure it laying flat as well. I wouldn't have somebody pay this much for something that may or may not fit. That has happened to me before...AND IT SUCKS!!!
danysfx
@ranastark hey...sorry! I had crazy day and forgot to get those measurements. Let me know if you're still interested and which ones you'd need, thank you so much!!
ranastark
I'm thinking....I'll get back to you. Thanks
