It has a handle to make it easy to take on the road -it also has a built-in thread cutter and a built-in bobbin winder. The bobbin winder on this machine is metal, which is far superior to the plastic ones out there today. The thread spool holders collapse down for safe travel. It has a dual thread capacity, which allows you to do two color sewing when using a double needle, also called a twin needle. In addition to the foot pedal and electrical cord, this machine comes with so many extras. It has an accessory compartment that contains the following, an extra bobbin, an extra pack of needles, a pair of scissors, a magnetic thread guide, a button hole foot, a machine, screwdriver, a point Turner/cleaning brush, a seam, ripper, an extra all-purpose foot, a zipper foot, and a straight stitch foot.
