cstorey13 Hello Charlotte @cw5145 good morning! 😀 there's nothing wrong with this necklace. It is filled gold and Kendra Scott's collection are quality ones so I don't think it will fade. I have a couple more of her collections and so far, they're all good and in great condition. I bought this for my self as a gift last New Year 2015. cstorey13 @ajaffera sorry for my late reply but I don't think so. At the photo #2 you can see the parts where you can adjust the length you want to do but I'm not very sure if it can go all the way to 18". 😊
