Kauai Sunrise shell pendant

Rare and Indigenous to the north west Hawaiian islands, peasants were sent to look for these pieces of gold at sunrise to collect them for their beloved royal kingdom members. Only royals were allowed the honor of bestowing these shells as jewelry.
