How warm is this coat?

@jammitjanet hi! I live in Minnesota and it gets pretty cold here. This coat was best for me in temps above 40 when I didn't want to wear a bulky winter coat, but I would still layer over a sweater. It has some insulation, but I would say it's better for spring/fall, not so much for winter if it gets cold where you are. Does that help?

@jbknee it does!!! I live in Alaska and it gets pretty cold here too! Your description was super helpful! If I wanted to wear it in like 20-30 degree weather do you think there’s enough space to layer up?

@jammitjanet It sure does get cold there! Even with being in MN I get cold very easily and if it were 20-30 degrees I might choose a different coat.😂 For layering, maybe double check the chest measurement to be sure. It's approx 19.5" how I've measured, about 39" overall (see photo)- and you'll want to be sure there's extra room. But let me know if any other measurements would be helpful and I am happy to take those for you too. 😊
