The serial number should actually be sewn into the inside of the purse and is an 8 digit #

@brookebunting I sincerely apologize for the delay. We have located the bag in our warehouse and the number inside on the Kate Spade tag says D411. So it’s not an 8 digits. I’m not sure what that means but as far as authenticity, I bought this set myself from a retailer not wholesaler. I hope this helps
