Kate Landry Handbag with detachable strap. Kate Landry is known for real and faux crocodile and snakeskin bags. As a former collector of Kate Landry, I’m going to say this one is most likely faux crocodile. Her bags were sold at Dillard’s in the early and mid-2000’s. Most are over the top in design. I don’t know why the label isn’t more popular. Bag is flawless except for a scratch when you open the flap. See last photo.

@iambebot I just had a root canal so let me tell you what I know. I bought this at a high-end luxury consignment shop because I collect Kate Landry’s but I am trying to downsize so this is one of the last ones I have left. It is an older bag but I don’t recall any flaws. The inside is suede but interiors are always difficult to photograph which is why there is not a better picture. When I get home, I will check out the bag and get back to you.

@iambebot Ok so I made a few changes to the description. Other than a scratch underneath the flap, the bag is flawless, however, I did some research and found that some of her bags are polyurethane rather than original crocodile and I suspect this bag is one of them. I bought them from Dillard’s for years, spending hundreds and never realized some of them were synthetic. Also just the flap is suede-the interior is nylon. It’s still a handsome bag. If you offer me $15 for the bag, I will take it.
