Artisans upcycle cotton saris by layering fabric together using the Kantha embroidery technique. Its iconic stitching is a longtime tradition for the people of India to upcycle and give new life to vintage fabrics. This is a mid weight poncho style coat which features pockets and a hood. It can also be worn reversed (inside out). I purchased on sale a few years ago and have never worn it. It is new without tags. I am passing along the savings. It is made of vintage fabrics so imperfections are present. Please review pictures to see areas of faded print and one superficial tear in the top layer (can be easily patched.
