KIPLING-XAVIER & PHYLLIS-Mechanic of Kipling 1952-1990-Leather Drawstring Bag I think that this is a very rare bag. Embossed on front in an upside down triangle is marked "Mechanic of Kipling" 1952-1990 Made of nubuck leather it is a large drawstring bucket bag measuring 11" by 12" by 6" The green tag on the side shows Kipling (monkey design) and on other side by Xavier & Phyllis. The top of the bag closes by drawstring with a mechanical stopper and features top handles as well as a removable/adjustable 40" webbing strap. Interior is lined in cotton canvas and features 1 zipped pocket and also a snap for top closure. I can't find any info on this bag and very little on the collaboration. Any info would be appreciated. In excellent pre-owned condition as shown. I am listing quite high, but if you have an offer, send it along and I will consider.
