Do you know how these normally fit? I haven’t tried this brand before. Are they stretchy or rigid? I am between a size 16-18 so I’m not sure if I should do a 1x or 2x.

@reedks hi! These shorts do have stretch to them. Do you have a way to measure your favorite pair of shorts? If you can tell me the measurements I can compare the two and we can see if these would work for you. I had someone try these on, who usually wears a 16 or 14 depending on the brand and they were big around her waist.

@cottoncalico right now my favorite are an 18 but they are 100% cotton, if I remember correctly they are 18-19” across waist and they are a little baggy. I can wear a 16 with a 16-17” across waist but they’re a tiny bit tight if they don’t have stretch. I normally wear American Eagle shorts/pants and I still go between a 16 and 18 for those, normally 16 for their stretchy denim

@reedks hmm..well, these are 16 at the waist and they do have a decent stretch. I have just added 2 additional measurement pictures to the listing so you can see the hips
