This is just above or right where the makers tag usually begins. Collars and hoods are not used for the length measurement. Jean length measurements are captured from the crotch area end seam to the leg seam ending. Width : ~ 18 1/4" Width is captured by fully stretching out the garment left to right and starting the ruler under the left arm seam and then stopping at the right arm seam.
