The lengthwise print also helps create an illusion of length and sleekness. The pleating does not create heaviness and in some places is tacked down at the top so that it falls straight down. There is also an inverted pleat in the front skirt area. The fabric is of very good quality and hangs well. Very well made. Looks great with a cardigan for the office or can be dressed up for a special occasion. It has a removable black skinny belt. I highly recommend this dress if you want to look and feel great!
