gwenschoicegets @lomo194 it is an elasticized waist with a true drawstring. measured flat, not stretched, it is 30in around. They can be tightened a bit with the drawstrings.Do you need more pics of anything?

gwenschoicegets @lomo194 I'm so sorry. I got confused. The hips are 38inches around. I would say they are generous for a small, but you do want a looser casual fit with these.
