bellpalmer @roccostreasure Honestly not sure. Maybe around 15? Perhaps a few more. I’m also a huge fan. Fell in love with him when I was just a kid in the 1970’s. My older cousin brought me to a concert in Saratoga, NY, and thus began my lifelong infatuation. 🥰

bellpalmer @roccostreasure Please don’t be jealous! I included it here to put a smile on your face. That pic wasn’t there before you commented on the shirt. So you’re saying you never got to one of his shows? It occurs to me that maybe you were too young to have done so. I went to every JD concert I could get to. My sister and I went every year for many years. I used to look forward to bringing my kids to see him, but he died when my oldest daughter was less than a year old. It was awful.

bellpalmer Not to be overly dramatic, but it honestly felt like I had lost one of my best friends, or even a family member. I received phone calls from childhood friends I had not heard from in years because they learned of his death and wanted to make sure I was OK. Just a dark time…he left us way too soon.
