This vintage Japanese cloth/flag from the 1950's commemorates the act of climbing Mount Fuji. It is made of cotton and features a multi-color design that reflects the traditional and cultural elements of Japan. This piece is an original vintage item from Japan, showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship of the region during that period. Size is 30" x 12". Been kept dry and is original from when my father climb the mountain during the Korean War era while station in Japan. Will need to be cleaned. Translation to English is "Oyama Toukiha, Rokkon Seijo, Everyone is at the North exit / Yoshida Exit"
