Japanese Marbleized Enamelware Metalware Ikebana Vase - Murashido Style

My grandfather worked for Mazda in the late 80’s and early 90’s as their automatic transmission consultant. He was given this as a gift. My family knew nothing about it. It sounds like it is almost an enameling process of coating over metal, so that it appears like oil on bronze marbling. This is quite unusual and lovely. I am just purging because I have a lot of things and my parents do, too. This is in excellent condition from a smoke free home. Colors are black with golds and iron reds. #japanese #ikebana #vase
