kerrylamson So can I decline this offer and would that allow you to try again and still get a reduced shipping cost? What happens to your net price absent shipping cost? Does it matter to you if the total is $35 for example and in one case shipping is discounted to $4.99 and in the other it is standard $7.11 so the valur for the item is $2.12 less? Happy to buy the item for that example price... don't know if I can say that in this comment section or not. Is this discussion private or open to everyone?

ahlalavie @kerrylamson well shipping « discounts » are always charged to the seller actually, if that’s what you were asking. When shipping is « discounted » to $4.99 it’s a way for Poshmark to pass the cost to the seller 🤷🏻‍♀️. As for messaging, there is no private messaging on here at all...different, I know :)

ahlalavie Therefore, since Poshmark already take 20% off sale price and pushes shipping costs on sellers, they do still try to not turn off sellers altogether and I assume that is why when a counteroffer is made, the shipping isn’t discounted
