Jamie Haller Penny Loafer in Bronzo - Limited Edition (NWOB)

This was a limited-issue color released during the 2023 holiday season; it was not offered again after it sold out. They are new and unworn and come with the original branded cotton muslin dust bag; the original box is NOT included. The leather outsoles have been professionally treated with a protective waterproofing solution, requiring the removal of the manufacturer's temporary plastic covering. This is factored into the price. They were described as being calf leather; however, these feel to me like lamb as they are EXTREMELY soft and malleable, with almost no structure of their own. As a result, they absolutely feel like slippers when worn, and require NO breaking-in period. I tried them on once (with socks) after the soles were treated and walked a few steps on both carpet and tile. There is a slight darkening to areas of the anti-skid inlay on the soles - these were there when they returned from being waterproofed, and are not a result of my having tested them out. I intended to order size 40, not 41, but my size sold out. I planned on wearing thick socks to address the this, but I never did.
