Convertible necklace designed by Jacques Kreisler Co.
A converted double chained necklace, created during the art deco period in New York by Kreisler Company. They were crafted around the 1925, with intricated links in solid white gold of 18 karats and platinum. They were designed with machine links and fitted with two crabs locks and two lobster lock, for easy conversion..
Pearls: Mounted with 7 round white pearls of 5 mm.
Birthstone: Pearls for the month of June.

The company was founded in 1914 in New York by Marcus Stern and Jacques Kreisler, The Stern-Kreisler Jewelry Company specialized in the production of high-end jewelry and bijouterie. Very soon they began to do business with the best department stores across the country. Originally, the company specialized in the production of men’s accessories – cufflinks, tie clips, bracelets and chains for watches, etc. Some years later, Jacques Kreisler became a sole owner of the company, which he renamed to Jacques Kreisler Manufacturing Co. According to retro ads posters, the company moved to North Bergen, New Jersey. One of the designers who worked for the company was William Diehl.
