Jacquard Upholstery Remnant - West Indies/Elephant, 54”x17”

British colonial style jacquard, featuring elephants. Upholstery weight. Post-consumer remnant. 54” selvedge to selvedge. Cut ends are not straight, but the length is approximately 17”. Cut ends fray like crazy, so I ironed on some hem tape. (Reverse side shown in second photo, bottom half). The paper backing is still on the tape, but it can be removed. It won’t become sticky, unless you heat it with the iron. You can sew right through it. Suggested uses: floor cloth, tapestry, upholster a bench or stool, accent pillow, carpet bag, journal cover, table runner. I don’t know the origin, designer, or the maker of the fabric.
