This is a pair of Johnson Brothers Old Granite Fruit Sampler pattern teacups and saucers. All decoration is done under the glaze to prevent fading. Elaborate multi-pattern design surrounds the central fruit motif in the middle of the saucers. A modified but similar design circles the teacups above the fruit pattern. The cups are impressed Made In England. Saucers are marked as shown. Excellent pre-loved condition. One teacup has a rough spot under the glaze, so it's not a chip but a manufacturing defect.
