This vintage vinyl LP from 1976 has been • CLEANED & PLAY-GRADED 👍 VG+/VG+ 'Spitfire' is the third album by American rock band Jefferson Starship. Released in 1976 by RCA/Grunt. Shusei Nagaoka drew the album's cover illustration of a green Chinese dragon and a woman riding its torso. Many mistook the woman on the cover to be Grace Slick, but it was the model/actress Cassandra Gava. 'Spitfire' quickly scaled the charts, peaking at #3 for six consecutive weeks on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. The lead single, 'With Your Love', peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the follow up 'St. Charles' reached #64. 'Spitfire' ultimately received RIAA platinum certification.
