JEANETTE for ST. MARTIN 2 Piece Tiger Print Sequined Dress & Cropped Jacket SZ 4

Fantastic vintage, sequined cocktail ensemble from Jeanette Kastenberg for St. Martin features a bolero length jacket over a short tank dress. Wear as an ensemble, or wear as separates and create additional outfits. The jacket is trimmed in swags of jet beads hanging from black soutache braid. It can be worn open or closed with snaps that are hidden by columns of tiny black and gold glass beads. The neckline and hemline of the tank style dress are also trimmed in beaded soutache braid, and it zips up the side for closure. The sequins are sewn on to an organza matrix, and the linings are probably a synthetic like rayon or polyester that is quite similar in look and feel to silk charmeuse. Labeled vintage size M, but hip size is 36", which would make it a size Small or 4-6. JACKET MEASUREMENTS - Shoulder width is 16" - Chest is 41" - Sleeve length is 22.5" excluding beaded fringe. - Length is 18.5" down center back excluding beaded fringe. DRESS MEASUREMENTS - Chest is 37" - Waist and hips are 36" - Length is 28" down center back. CONDITION Excellent condition with no significant flaws. Surprisingly, we didn't find any missing beads or sequins.
