100% silk! There's a second layer that drapes over the chest really nicely so you don't have to fight with a strapless bra! Elastic at the top and a zipper up the back for a secure fit. It's very hard to photograph hanging so I included a stock photo. It measures about 16 inches across, with about an inch give to the elastic.
