J.Crew Factory Sample Dress (age 7 years) - NWT

If new to shop, only pre-consumer (not previously owned) recycled (by brands themselves) textiles & garments are sold. This includes samples and/or finished pieces, some w/defects imposed by the brands to prevent resale at full retail. I mend all defects & document repairs before & after for full transparency. ___ This is a factory sample for J.Crew that was submitted for recycling. B/c this is a factory samples, a defect was imposed so to prevent resale at full retail price. Tags included are sample tags. The defect is minimal, discreet, easily mendable and easily identifiable since it is labeled by the factory. This defect (commonly called a “mutilation” by the factories & bramds) involves just a simple, short cut in the back of the piece approximately 2.5” - see photos. If anyone would like the mend made, this can be arranged but the price would be increased by $10, just contact me in advance to request and I’ll bundle the repaired piece and relist for you. Otherwise, this mend should be very straightforward and easy to do for most. This is NWOT. It is pre-consumer and not preowned. It was submitted to a textile recycling program to avoid landfill and increase the life-cycle of the sample.
