palladium_35 @chrysanthemum8 OK I am somewhat correct/incorrect. Upon further inspection, the dress technically does have a waist and even has a seam at the waist as well as bust seams. But I still maintain that when it is worn, the dress hangs fairly straight. Maybe due to the weight of the beading. Measuring straight across with he dress laid flat, the bust is 14.5", waist is 13.5", and the hips (at 6" below waist) are 19".

chrysanthemum8 Thanks so much for doing that. Are you completely sure about the bust measurement? 14.5 laid flat would mean it has a 29 inch bust, which is very small. If it fits you, you could also try measuring yourself to see if the measurement adds up.

palladium_35 @chrysanthemum8 Hi--yes, I understand. There are shaped seams at the bust (there is slight convexity) so when the dress is laid flat, we are likely losing a bit of the actual circumference when doing a flat horizontal measurement. If you are seriously considering this dress, please make a bundle--happy to continue the conversation. I have not put the dress on since I received it, but at the time, I was (am) a J.Crew size 2 on top, and 4 on the bottom (in their sizing circa 2017).

palladium_35 P.S. The dress is really gorgeous. I have avoided touching it (it's still in the original hanger/plastic/box) to avoid messing up the feathers. Obviously I am not anxious to let it go. I just don' t have any real need for it, so if someone else does, then great!
