J. Jill Embroidered Cotton Knit Dress

J. Jill small girl knee-length dress or tall girl tunic. Kind of a streamlined peasant style. Super soft 100% cotton (made in India) with quite a bit of stretch. Black, but not solid black--there's a slight texture to the weave w/lighter threads, imperceptible unless close up, but can make the fabric look a little faded or "off" in photos (it's neither irl). Covered elastic scoop neck with tan & off-white embroidery. Raglan style short sleeves. Side pockets. Not especially lightweight, so with a jacket/blazer/vest etc. it's easily a three-season item.
