tbk201 @kagervasi our boy just moved there, he lives in beaver creek , I guess it’s real close to the base. I won’t be able to visit this year maybe next. Hubs is having a level 4 back fusion June 29 🫣. Hugs

kagervasi @tbk201 WPAFB is the largest employer in the state of Ohio. I retired from there, as a Fed. Beavercreek is a really nice suburb of Dayton and has great schools! I live further north in the country. Living the hippie life, gardening, growing herbs, and smoking weed! Haha Really! I am 100% Disabled/Unemployable now. It is much flatter than Utah but dirt cheap to retire. No taxes whatsoever! Yeah! Can afford to travel!

tbk201 Wow! That’s nice to know, our boy and his wife have a 2 yr type tour on the GS side. She gonna be a GS 30 LOL she works hard for it with school and all. The taxes are awful here. I’m ready to move. The housing market is ridiculous! Our boy wants us to move there. I kinda want to my grandson is 8 and he’s only been gone 4 months I’m im miserable. That’s awesome! My husband is 80 percent disabled the other 20 is prob coming after back surgery. Maybe we should check into it! I hope you have great

tbk201 Doctors good ones are few and far between. I’m glad I found someone to connect to, I started this journey all alone and you’ve been very kind. Traveling is so fun! We have a trailer and just came back from the Uintas Our boy says Ohio has festivals for everything ha ha ! They said they went to a strawberry festival last week! Gardening and growing is great and makes life more fun! Love it all. Dirt cheap sounds great if you get to travel!

kagervasi @tbk201 Yes, Festivals galore! I live just East of Troy. This weekend is the Lostcreek Garden Show, which I love! Also to consider out here, you'd be surprised, lots of culture! Dayton gets a bad wrap for the Opiod Epidemic but lots of new manufacturing companies back to Dayton & Columbus. It is exciting.

tbk201 Lol that’s what I’ve been trying to convince him of. I gotta push him a lil harder , I think he’ll come around ..we just gotta get thru the fusion surgery and rehab then maybe it will be a permanent move! Whoo whoo 😆

tbk201 The DAV is definitely backed up, they haven’t updated in 2weeks. We are working with them now..a lil slow but hopefully we will hear something soon. We are trying to get them to look at new dr letters and change his disability. He was rated wrong when he got out in 06. What a nightmare
