Is this a solid grey flannel or it a herringbone? Cannot tell from close up. Thanks

@al10009blue Hello! It's solid grey. Thanks for asking!

@al10009blue You're welcome. You asked if it was solid grey 'flannel', so I just want to clarify that it's not flannel - it's matte wool - but it's still a solid grey, not a herringbone. Take care...

I have a question about the fabric. You indicate that it is not flannel. When you say matte wool, is it smoother and more lightweight than a flannel? Would you say this is a blazer for all seasons, or is it too heavy for summer?

I currently own two Ludlow blazers in black. One is a heavier weight that is not great for summer. The original one I purchased is smoother and lighter and is good year-round.

Hi, @bozini ! Thanks for asking. It's a tough question b/c it's subjective to what you find comfortable, right? The material is smooth - yes - but when something says 'wool' - to me, that says 'warm'. It's not one of my heavier JCrew blazers, but I wouldn't wear it in the MN summer b/c that means 85/90! On a cooler night when it's 65 and I'm looking for a 'jacket' - that's actually a good idea! Is there another way I could describe it to be helpful?
