Metal tip on toe. These are absolutely adorable and made in Italy. They are very worn and the wear is pictured. However, as you'll see, I had them repaired a couple of years ago and they painted over the scratches. So from far away, they actually are in pretty good looking shape. I am glad to include the Tory Burch dust bag which is pictured in this listing.
