J. Crew Cinched Waist Shirtdress P6 NWT Defect Please Read Description

Despite the fact the fabrics supposedly has elastane it is not that stretchy. I just got this dress from J Crew and tried it on. It was too small, too tight. In trying to take it off one of the stitches tore at the waist. I used a tiny bit of fabric glue to repair and prevent further tearing. Please see second to last photo. I am very bitter about the loss of not only not being able to wear the dress, but I can’t return it either. Please somebody take a chance on this dress and wear it! It’s a pretty style and I love the color. I’m just to upset to give another size a try. Bust measures 16” across Waist is about 13” across Length is 45.5” from top of shoulder to hem “A-line silhouette. Falls above ankle, 54" from high point of shoulder (based on a size 8).
