J Crew 2022 Nova Fides Tan Fall Flare Trousers

I just received these in the mail, and they do not fit. They have a 16 tag in them, but I have other pairs of these trousers and the sizing in this pair must be off. I would say they are more like a 12/14. My loss for assuming sizing, and not requesting measurements prior to purchase - hoping to recoup some of the cost. They are in excellent condition, essentially like new. SEE MEASUREMENTS BELOW Lay flat waist 16” Lay flat hips 22” Reposhing this item I purchased from @flippedthrift.
