8i8lolita8i8 @prairiecv you could use it with WiFi with your iPhone (you just won’t receive text or calls if your phone is not near by), or you can add it to your Verizon account and have a separate phone number, and still have it paired with your phone, and be able to receive phone calls and text without your phone near by.

8i8lolita8i8 @mineali - Yes, you can use the Apple Watch on either carrier, just make sure you go into the Watch app > My Watch tab > Cellular. You will find the setting here, and if you don’t see your current carrier on there, select Add a New Plan.

8i8lolita8i8 @bremeece this is what I found on apple.com/discussions... Apple Watch Cellular will not work on Straight Talk. -You can use the Apple Watch Cellular if your carrier is Straight Talk, but it will NOT have cellular service...

8i8lolita8i8 @bremeece So basically you can set it up with your cell phone but to get messages, notifications, and calls you will need your phone near the watch. You will not be able to receive calls, text, notifications if your phone is not near by. The only way would be if you gots it’s own cellular number which you can’t with straight talk. Hope that answers your question.
