This is a conversation piece and nice decorative storage for small items. The image is of 3 men concerned with the papers the young man is holding. They appear to be discussing news of the day or are possibly conspiring. Either way, that guy on the left looks ticked that you are watching them. This box is in good vintage condition, but has extra wear to its finish and the image has been retouched in spots. Fortunately, any distressing just blends into these items. I gave it a wash of gold paint around the sides to bring the piece to life again. This decorative box makes a statement of “old world traveler”. Box measures approximately 5.75” x 4.25” x 2”.
