Italian plate, ‘Adoration of the Magi’

Collector’s plate, "Adoration of the Magi," first sculptured by Alberto Santangela, is the First issue, released in December 1983, of the Ghiberti Doors Collection by Studio Dante di Volteradici. This limited edition collector's plate (number BF 3438) was cast in ivory alabaster and finished by hand. Plates issued under the hallmark of the Studio Dante di Volteradici are crafted in a tradition that now reaches back some five centuries. 8 1/2" in diameter. In original box with with docs.
