Italian micro mosaic ormolu pill or snuff box

Very vintage micro mosaic pill box. The mosaic image on the lid depicts red & white flowers on a dark blue background. It is hand crafted with tiny tesserae that are smooth to the touch. In perfect condition, no tesserae missing or damaged. The box is golden, hinged and suitable to carry precious items or pills. There is a plastic like insert (removable) that has a mark.
