Italian Micro Mosaic Brooch

This is a stunning micro mosaic brooch.It was made in Italy. It is made of glass tessarae mosaic pieces and brass. The brooch is barrel shaped and has a beautiful bouquet of three roses and other flowers with leaves set in relief. The bouquet pops out beautifully against green coloured tessarae. The pin is fastened at the back with a typical micromosaic safety pin clasp. The brooch is in very good condition but the back like many micromosaics is worn out.
