celenasstyles Hello Cassie! I just LOVE all of your beautiful nail designs! I have a problem with fake nails though. For some reason, no matter where I get them done, or if I do it myself, my real nails get extremely brittle.

celenasstyles I've gone over a year now without getting pretty nails done and my real nails are now pretty strong but I am really really wanting to try your nails! What type of glue do you use? Is there anything more gentle than the normal that would still hold them in just as well? Just curious. I'm really really tempted to try a set but I'm afraid too.

phantomwrt13 @celenasstyles you are so kind, thank you so much! :) Brittle nails are so difficult, especially in the winter. I have a gee recommendations!!!! Self Care is so important! I highly recommend cuticle oil or almond oil. Regular hydration prevents chipping and breakage. Unfortunately, almost all of the methods used in getting our nails done (gel polish, press ons, etc) require drying out the nail in order to get long wear.

phantomwrt13 @celenasstyles I think the trick is 1) hydration 2) allowing time for your nail to breathe between manicures. My sets include both nail glue (by Makartt) and nail tabs. The nail glue will give you 2+ weeks of wear, but does require dehydrating the nail so the glue has a good surface to adhere to.

phantomwrt13 @celenasstyles The tabs on the other hand, may be a good option for you to start with! They will last you only 2-3 days of wear, but I can include several sheets so you can always pop your nails back on. They are also a much gentler option.

phantomwrt13 @celenasstyles and finally, the way you remove press ons is sooooo important. Damage can occur to the nail when you forcibly try to take off the presson. However, when you remove with patience and the appropriate steps (which I include in the instructions) and then hydrate, your nails should avoid becoming brittle again! sorry I know that was a ton of info lol

celenasstyles @phantomwrt13 Thank you so much! That was all great info! I'm going to start treating my nails with cuticle oil and get them super strong before trying. But I will be back and try. Your nails are way too pretty to forget about lol
