In 1897, the Indiana Glass Company was founded in Dunkirk, IN and for more than a century, this small Indiana town manufactured everything from iridescent carnival glass to Depression-style tumblers, goblets, and plates. With the 1960's came a renewed interest in glassware and Indiana Glass Company’s popular carnival glass molds were used to produce new lines of traditionally styled products in a variety of colors.
This Indiana Glass Company Pretzel Iridescent Marigold Carnival Glass Celery Dish has no maker mark as was common with many glass companies in the USA. The dish which measures 10.5" by 4.75" and stands 2.0" tall is in very good condition with no scratches, chips, or cracks, in fact, the dish appears to have never been used only displayed. This beautiful Indiana Glass Company Pretzel Iridescent Marigold Carnival Glass Celery Dish would make a wonderful addition to any Carnival Glass collection or serve as a serving dish for a dining table setting!
