Connemara Marble Pendant, Green and White with Natural Veining A sterling silver Connemara Marble pendant inlayed with an Oval shaped Connemara marble stone. The Connemara marble is a natural material the colour and veining will vary throughout the stone. Pendant measures approximately 2"x 1.5" see photos. Very beautiful natural green and white stone. Statement piece. I have several of these my mom picked up in Ireland. hardly been worn they are in great shape, no cracks. Silver could use a buff. Connemara marble is regarded as one of the most authentic Irish products available in Ireland. Geologists estimate that it is about six hundred million years old. The colour and markings in the marble reflects the natural beauty of the mountains of Connemara. The marble is quarried, fashioned and polished by skilled craftsmen at the Connemara Marble Factory Vistor Centre, Moycullen, Co.
