ckarinab @snkalwaysn4ever it's a special plating process. please read below: People also ask Does ion plating wear off? Is ion plated better than stainless steel? IP plating with most materials produces a more scratch resistant (harder) surface. The end result is also relatively lightweight, so easy to wear and the coating means watches are five times stronger than standard stainless steel ones.
