Inuikii full leather black shearling boots

Brand new, but one loop for the laces came undone, see last photo. You can still tie them without it. They are a European size 40 but run a bit small, so I would say these fit a 39 European size (9 US). I’m a 38, so unfortunately they are too big for me. They were a gift from my mum and since she bought them abroad I can’t return them. No tags since they were a gift but see photos of the sole - never worn. They are sold on Shopbop for $389 pre tax, which is $423 post tax.
