This Fortune Telling/Tea Leaf Reading Teacup Set is from International Collectors Guild. It is similar to tasseography sets by Jon Anton and the Royal Kendal Taltos sets which were copies of the Nelros Cup of Fortune from 1904. Print on exterior of cup reads “Would’st thy fortune like to see? This cup will show it thee.” • Fine China Made in Japan • Distributed in the US by Lillian Vernon Corp • Includes the original instruction pamphlet • Cup is 3.13” diameter x 2.25” tall • Plate is 5.63” diameter x 0.88” deep A smoke-free estate sale find, this set does not appear to have ever been used.
